Stay & Train
Each week you will drop your dog off at Greenhouse Canine from Monday-Friday. During this time we will build, challenge and test all of the new behaviors your dog will learn.

Weekly In-Home Session
The most important part of the process: handing the new knowledge over to you. Once a week, we will meet at your home and turn you into their trainer! ​Homework will be given so that you can practice over the weekend. ​

Graduate Group Classes
Practice your skills in real time! It takes a village to train a dog. Working on our skills around other like-minded people in a controlled environment is what makes our training the best.
Why it Works
Dog training has traditionally been done in one of two ways:
1. A trainer comes to you to train in your home (private lessons)
2. A trainer takes your dog and they are taught in their care (board & train)

Both are incredibly beneficial, but each on their own can lack qualities that turn good training into GREAT training.

Private sessions only move as quickly as you do. You are responsible for keeping up the pace and putting in the time. You and your dog are learning at the same time which can be a fun, but overwhelming experience.

Board and trains can guarantee a trained dog upon pick up, but for how long? I can build you a car, but if you don't know how to drive it, it's an expensive paper weight.

The hybrid program solves both of those issues. We do most of the heavy lifting, while you are able to have a key role in the learning process each week. A dog will thrive in a trainer's environment, but what happens when they go back home to a place where they have never been trained or held accountable? Weekly sessions and weekends at home will guarantee that we thoroughly proof all of these behaviors in the most important environments.
